It was insane, but awesome :). We drove 9 hours for a wedding I was photographing. Because it was near our alma mater, everyone came. Luckily, our baby is an extremely good traveler (better than me, I think) and we had friends to stay with. So, not only did my little photographer heart get to revel in a wedding, 4 family shoots and an engagement, but I got to celebrate birthdays with friends, spend a little time showing my baby the place her parents fell in love and eating all kinds of things that we'll work on cancelling out this week with grilled fish and brown rice :).
Alzbeta, I know what you mean!! I was just not going to weigh myself this morning, like I do every monday morning... but then I decided to be brave and step on the scale. I gained 3 pounds in three days?! I'm so mad, but it was kind of worth it. haha. I'm glad you had a good weekend with your adorable family. :)
Melissa, lake erie! It's very close to where we live. It always sounded crappy to me, since the beach towns are all near like... cleveland, oh... but we tried it a few years ago, and it's gorgeous!
