  2. About the dad in my life though. I don't know what kind of post you want but I'll just kind of go with it. We met two years ago, I had an untamed wanderlust and was looking for a hitchhiking partner. No commitment, just someone to travel Canada with by way of thumb. There is a well known highway outside of my city where woman have been murdered hitchhiking so I really needed someone to go with. Looking back, it wasn't terribly safe but that's okay.We all find our own ways, anyway. We travelled to Vancouver Island and the border of the Yukon, and stayed in ditches and tents, went to Shambhala in the year 2009 and then came back home and fell in love somewhere along the way. only to find out I was pregnant in the winter. We stayed together, and he, our son, and I now volunteer at an anarchist info shop in town. About my husbadn though. He's pretty laid back, he's passionate about inequality and isn't afraid to stand up for whatever is is he feels is right. He's a pretty great guy really. :]

  3. Oh my, my husband is great, as is my dad. Since my husband is always around I suppose I'll mention him. We met randomly and bonded over Tom Waits on a 3 hour phone call when he decided he really wanted to go out on a date (and forgot what I looked like, which made me certain he was a winner). I feel so lucky to have found such a smart, kind, loving man (at such a young age, no less) to be the best father to our two kids. Can't wait to see how he brings out the best in our kids in the upcoming years!

  5. I wasn't blessed to have a great Dad, enough said on that. And I don't have any children... But the super awesome wonderful dad in my life is my best friend's husband. He is AMAZING! I sometimes watch the way he interacts with his kids, speaks to them and plays with them and it leaves me awe. I have never known a man to be so loving, caring or so engaged with his kids. Please accept this as my entry. Thank you!
