Can I say, without any embellishment or art... that I am so proud of my girls. They are good little people, and for whatever part in that I've played, I am immensely proud. They are kind and thoughtful sisters. They don't fight or get jealous of one another. They just love each other, and I feel like we must be the happiest little family in the whole world.
We had Louisey's birthday party at a park near our house. When we got there, all the pavilions were taken, so we set blankets on the ground and took over one of the playground structures. It was breezy and sunny and there were a million white clover flowers all around us. Our friend were there with their children and babies, and even a little puppy and it kind of felt like a perfect day.
All I kept thinking about was how sweet and kind and amazing my children are. I love their little friendships, the nursing babies and toddlers with sunglasses. I know it's summertime and it's only expected that I should feel this way, but the little world we've created together is absolutely beautiful.
Scouty helping me with Muno's bumps. My very first cake from scratch, and he was delicious. I've been talking about making this cake all week. Go ahead. You can say it. I totally did an awesome job.
The big girl with her Grammy. My mom.
Hm...
Delicious!
Opening presents. What do you think? Does she look like a big girl to you?
Perfect chubby baby. I will never get over her fat little baby legs.
Oh, mommy!
Happy Birthday, my gorgeous little one.
