This week's Trifecta Weekend Challenge went like this: This weekend's challenge is to give us a story or snippet of a story which includes, in exactly 33 words, a justified exclamation point. Make us believe that your exclamation point simply needs to be in your story. The writer with the most believable exclamation wins.
Can you justify your exclamation? Link up here.

I have relatives I avoid this conversation with.
ReplyDeletewell done and point made.
i agree, well done and exclamation worthy.. i can hear the ha!
ReplyDeleteNicely done! I also avoid these conversations.
ReplyDeleteI like the hearty sound of "How he laughed!" The combination of "how" and an exclamation point supplants the need for italics. As always, well done.
ReplyDeleteI like this because in a few words you show how you love your father even though you disagree with him.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with Trifecta. Dinosaur talk, I can handle. It's when the conversation turns to "So, what, I'm just a monkey?" that my exclamations come out. Nicely done. Hope to see you back on Monday.
ReplyDeleteMy Gram was like that. Well captured. Evelyn
